Pickleball is at FPC! Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:00 am
We play every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-11:00 am in the
church gym (Oct- April), or outside a various courts int he area (May- Sept). Are
you an experienced player or just interested in learning more and trying out the
game? Either way, we have you covered! We have extra equipment for those

Manna & More Fellowship Breakfast
Second Sunday of the month (September thru May) , 8:15-10:30 am

You are invited to share a delightful breakfast and fellowship time with your
family and friends before and after the 9:00 am service. This is also the perfect
time to make a new friend. Please mark your calendar to join us the second
Sunday of each month. We look forward to seeing you!
This group coordinates monthly potluck dinners with guest speakers.

All members of the club read and discuss selected books.
When: Third Monday of the month, 12:30 pm (Sept. - May)

First Night Out
This social group is for anyone who would like to meet new church friends or
enjoy members they have known for years. New groups are assigned every
year in the fall and plan monthly gatherings as individual groups.
When: A combined gathering kicks off First Night Out in the fall. After that,
individual groups plan their own monthly events.
Where: Varies – homes, church, event location
FPC Young Adult Group
All couples or singles up to the age of 40 are invited to join this group, which
plans a variety of social events through the year. The purpose of these
gatherings is to meet new people or to get to know current members better.

Immersion Tour to Dubuque
Saturday March 24, 8:30-4:30 pm
Join our Travel Fellowship to learn how
First Presbyterian of Davenport and St.
Luke’s Methodist Church in Dubuque are
artistically and historically connected. St.
Luke’s is home to the fifth largest
collection of Tiffany Windows in the
United States. Every window in the
church is a unique work of art and all
were created by Louis Comfort Tiffany in
Before the turn of the century, St. Luke
congregational members met Tiffany at
the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893, while
their new sanctuary was under
construction. The breathtaking results
are just up the road in Dubuque, IA.

of the many similarities between our two
sanctuaries and church history. Come
join us for a private tour to learn the “rest
of the story” as well as how their church
leaders visited our church after our
“Bridge Builders“ restoration project in
the late 1990’s.
We start out the morning with a coach
tour of historic Dubuque led by a
professional guide. You will learn the
stories behind the city’s architecture and
of the influential families and religious
leaders. This will be followed by a tour of
St. Luke’s Methodist where our docent
will share the significance of its many
After our church tour, we plan to sample
wine at the Stone Cliff Winery followed
by a lunch break. The winery is housed
in the historic Star Brewery building
overlooking the Mississippi. Register by

a minimum group participation of 25 to
