 A History of Davenport Parks, 1836 - 1936
Saturday, September 25
at 6:00 pm

In 1836 when Davenport was founded there were three parks. Today the number has greatly increased and church member Bob Martin will trace the fascinating history of what he considers to be five major additions to the park system. Then, he will leave us with a question/mystery about something that was built in a park, but ‘why,’ and ‘where’ and ‘if’ it was ever used. This is your chance to enjoy good company, and delicious food. Everyone is welcome to attend the next Socializers potluck dinner and program on Saturday, September 25 at 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. For information about Socializers, please contact Roger Powell (563-391-1593).
