Thankfulness + Compassion = Service

This holiday season Sunday School Children enjoyed serving our FPC neighbors and community through donations to the Caring Closet.

The children discussed being thankful for those people who offer them care and provide them with a safe and loving home.  They expressed compassion toward people experiencing limited resources.  The 2024 service projects were listed as favorite activities and they requested the opportunity to again show their love and care for our neighbors.

This care was turned into intentional action.  Personal greetings were decorated and toiletries placed in bags, assembly line style. Each bag was marked with an FPC sticker, reminding Caring Closet Guests that they are loved by God.
